A note on teaching Edited American English
Per the new labor-based grading contract beginning in Fall 2021, this course will place less emphasis on edited American English during the planning, researching, drafting, and peer reviewing portion of the writing process. If students still wish to work on learning edited American English, there is a repository of exercises on punctuation and structure in InQuizitive, which is included in the Inclusive Access version of The Norton Field Guide.
